Fur Industry
Fur breeding is a significant economic activity in Finland and one of the country's most important export industries. It is of major economic importance particularly in rural and scarcely populated areas. Finland has since long emphasized the importance of responsible and sustainable breeding. The Finnish fur sector firmly believes that wellbeing of the animals and the environment is a precondition for the wellbeing of the Finnish fur sector.
